Janette Jordan
Director of Legal Operations & partner Attorney/Mediator
As an attorney and mediator who has dedicated her entire practice to family law, my approach is built on the belief that resolving family disputes requires more than just strong legal knowledge—it necessitates a compassionate, mindful approach.
While navigating legal issues can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming, it can also be an opportunity for personal growth and transformation. My goal is to guide you through these challenging times and complex issues with empathy, clarity, and expertise.
I am committed to the success of your family as a whole, while striving to minimize conflict and reduce trauma. My practice is rooted in facilitating agreements that are based on transparency, integrity, and understanding. I view my role as ensuring that you have realistic expectations related to your matter, the support you need to be a part of co-authoring them, and the tools to thrive beyond them.
My practice covers a broad spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, common law, allocation of parental rights, cohabitation, premarital and postmarital agreements, wills, and basic estate planning. With a focus on both maximizing your financial resources and honoring the emotional facets, I am here to help you navigate these complexities with confidence and care.
I have been a Boulder area resident since 2000, I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Juris Doctorate from Washburn School of Law. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters, our dog, and supporting the Buffs during football season!
